New Discoveries

I found my FEET!! Kaleb has loved playing with his new favorite toy- his feet! They can keep him occupied for hours! He has also started raising his arms when we lift him up. He loves stomach zirberts and laughs and laughs. We can't get enough! The other day he was sitting in his high chair and dropped his toy and looked down for it. Wow, what a smart kid...you may think that most kids do that months earlier, but don't bust a proud mom's bubble. I dont want to know..

Kaleb has some really cool red sunglasses that we hope to use soon when we get the boat out...more pics to come. We are really looking forward to the nice weather and the new activities that it will bring. Now I'm still working part time and enjoying being out of the house, but I can't wait until I can spend time with Kaleb at the neighborhood pool. Soon the Wade grandparents will be in town and we are looking forward to their visit. Kaleb can show off some of his skills that only parents and grandparents appreciate.

Kaleb is now about 25.25 inches long and between 15-16 pounds. We dont go for an official weighing until next month. Hope everyone is doing well!!

Visit to Great Grandmommie's house

In March we went to visit great grandmommie...although she didn't like to be called "great" so we settled on just grandmommie...Kaleb made another successul trip to Olive Garden and was an angel. He's made many trips to restaurants, the mall, and church and I must say he is a very well behaved baby...he must take after his mom..hehe! He still has his red hair and great smile

My First Snow, March 2008

So, I admit, I am definately being a blog slacker...I'm way behind. But here are a few pics of Kaleb's first snow (that didn't melt before we were able to dress him and get him out the door). His frosty friend melted within two hours of this picture.

Recent Events

Below:
This is what happens when Jason is left alone to take care of Kaleb. They play jungle in Kaleb's crib. I think Jason had more fun than Kaleb!

Kaleb recently went to his friend Elijah's first birthday party. We watched Elijah eat way too much cake!

This is one of my favorite pictures. Kaleb actually grew out of this outfit in a week. The sleeves were up to his elbows a week after this picture.

This (the red outfit-this program switches pictures around and it is hard to write besides them) is actually an outfit that Jason wore when he was a baby...although Jason wore it at 6 months and Kaleb squeezed into it at 3 months. We did a photo shoot at home and got alot of good pics!

We have no pictures of our little fort that we made in our stairwell the other night when the tornados went through but we appreciate all your thoughts and concerns. We had the mattresses all around us. It was pretty scary because we had more to lose this time(Kaleb).

I've also started working again. I'm doing home health physical therapy because it is more flexible and I get paid alot more. I'm only working part time and seeing around 3 patients a day. That way Kaleb only has to go to day care 3-4 hours a day. They do a good job at day care (a local one) but he doesn't get the individual attention I would like(I'm a little biased). But it does give me a chance to get out of the house again.

Baby Blessing

On January 27th Kaleb had his baby blessing at church. It was really nice. We pledged to raise Kaleb in a Christian home. Kaleb's grandparents and aunt Amanda and Uncle Jeremy and cousin Nylah were all there to support us. The church had a nice lunch afterwards.
